Kerry - Registered Dental Assistant

Hi, my name is Kerry, and I have been an orthodontic assistant for 13 years.  I have worked with Dr. Karlin for the past two years.  I love working with such a great team; it really is like one big happy family!  I truly enjoy my job, and helping to create beautiful smiles by providing exceptional orthodontic care is extremely rewarding.

I have a one son, Dennis ("The Menace!"), and two teenage daughters.  My daughters and I share a love for music, and we go to concerts whenever we can!  In addition, I have a passion for decorating, antiquing, and restoring and refinishing old furniture.

Toni - Patient Coordinator

Hi, I'm Toni, and I am the  patient coordinator.  I have been working with Dr. Karlin for over seven years, and I have over 28 years of customer service experience.  It is my pleasure to help answer any questions that you may have.  I enjoy being able to help our patients, and I am proud of the way that our team is able to meet the needs of so many unique individuals.

Before working in orthodontics, I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of Maryland and a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) degree from Shore Academy Dental Assisting School.  When I'm not at the practice, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Jeremy, and our children, Taylor and Tristan.  My hobbies include cooking and making stained glass.  It is my greatest goal to make everybody's experience at this practice as pleasant as possible.

Lisa - Registered Dental Assistant

 I have been an orthodontic assistant for over 20 years, and I have worked with Dr. Karlin for the past two years.  I enjoy working with our children and adult patients, making them feel comfortable and excited about their treatment.  I am proud to work with such an exceptional team who has found the perfect balance of professionalism and fun every single day.  Everyone truly enjoys working here, resulting in an amazing energy in the office throughout the entire day!

On a personal note, I am a huge music fan.  I have an eclectic taste, listening to everything from Frank Sinatra to Meat Loaf!  I also enjoy spending time with my five children.  I am a huge bookworm, and I love to cook.  After many years of pleading by my family and friends, I finally combined these two passions by writing my very own cookbook!

Meri - Certified Dental Assistant

I have been working with Dr. Karlin as a certified dental assistant for over five years.  I perform a variety of duties, including all lab work.  I enjoy making sure that our patients have a great time visiting our practice, and that they have a wonderful orthodontic experience.  We have such a fun team here; we're always laughing and joking around, and we all work together to provide the best care possible to our patients and their families!

In my free time, I enjoy being around animals, especially playing with my dog, Libby.  I also like playing baseball and watching ultimate fighting.  I look forward to many more great years working in orthodontics.

Brittany - Receptionist

Hello, my name is Brittany, and I love greeting our happy patients at the front desk every day!  I graduated from Montclair State University with a Bachelor's Degree in English.  Before working for Dr. Karlin, I was an auction clerk for three years.  I met my fiance, Kevin, at the auction (no, he didn't bid on me!), and we can't wait to get married!

I am an avid reader and a fan of Greek mythology.  I am also a self-published author (please, no autographs!).  When I am not in the office, I browse flea markets and auctions, searching for hidden treasures.  I also coach my home town's cheerleading team.

Carole - Registered Dental Assistant

 Hello, and welcome!  My name is Carole, and I have been a registered dental assistant for Dr. Karlin for over twelve years (with over 30 years of experience in orthodontics).  I enjoy working with our patients and our wonderful, friendly staff.  Each member of our orthodontic team is dedicated to the comfort and happiness of our patients.  We are all here because we want to help our patients achieve beautiful smiles and increased confidence.  Working in orthodontics is rewarding on every level, and I am so glad to be a part of this team!

Outside of the practice, I am married, and my husband Tom and I have one son, Sean.  I enjoy being with my family, reading, and spending time with my two dogs, Buddy and Molly.

Cherie - Practice Administrator

Hi, my name is Cherie, and I am Dr. Karlin's practice administrator.  I am usually the first person to greet you upon your arrival. I have worked in the finance and management fields for over 20 years, and I have over 10 years of experience in the field of orthodontics. My extensive background in working with insurance companies will help ensure that you will receive the maximum orthodontic benefit to which you are entitled.  Striving to manage our team and helping to create a professional, fun, and friendly office environment, I look forward to working with you and your family to provide a comfortable, stress-free, and rewarding experience in our office.  The best part of my day is when parents and patients tell me how much they love coming to our office for their appointments!

In my free time, I love to go to the beach and bury my toes in the sand.  I grew up in Pennsylvania, so there is still that country girl in me that loves to spend time in the mountains as well!  I love to travel and spend quality time with my family and friends.
